Fire resistant PU-Foam HH

Fire Resistant PU-Foam HH: B1 Fire Foam, No Foam Gun Needed

Not every installer carries a foam gun, but fire requirements still apply. Fire resistant PU-Foam HH is the handheld (HH) version of our fire retardant foam: a ready-to-use, one-component polyurethane foam classified B1 according to DIN 4102, applied with the supplied straw. It fills, seals and insulates joints, seams and cavities, adheres to concrete, masonry, wood and metal, and shows no shrinkage after curing.

  • Fire class B1 according to DIN 4102
  • Handheld application with straw, no foam gun required
  • No shrinkage after curing
  • Tensile strength 120 kPa, adhesion strength 100 kPa
  • Thermal conductivity of 0.035–0.041 W/(m·K)

Handheld Expanding Foam for Fire-Sensitive Joints and Penetrations

This handheld expanding foam is used for frame joints, window sills, cavities, pipe penetrations and electrical installations. It is tack-free in 7–8 minutes, cuttable after 40–60 minutes and delivers approx. 40 litres of foam per can. Once cured, it withstands -50 °C to +78 °C. The B1 classification describes the fire behaviour of the foam itself under test conditions; it does not by itself indicate a fire-resistance duration for a complete joint or penetration construction. For fire-rated applications, check the applicable classification report. Like any polyurethane foam filler, it must be protected against UV outdoors.
